Dave is a lover of American music who cut his teeth on rockabilly, notably in the Paris band Burning Dust on the Hightones, led at the time by Dan Goffreteau. After two years at a classical conservatory his ear matured, and he is now equally passionate about swing: he works through Ray Brown’s method and draws inspiration from contemporary acts such as Jonathan Stout or Berlin’s The Big Five Swing for their authenticity.

Our drummer trained as a percussionist at the National Conservatory of Strasbourg, then took the symphonic path as a permanent extra musician with the Mulhouse Orchestra and the Fribourg Philharmonic for 20 years!
He later turned to teaching percussion and simultaneously joined the French swing-song band “Igor et les voleurs de Notes”. He also plays vibraphone with the Mulhouse Jazz Big Band!
They look forward to seeing you on every stage and in every club to revive a living American music from the 40s to the 60s. Their repertoire of covers, arrangements and original compositions invites you to dance, relax and soak up the good mood of those bygone years.
